Thirsty
Posted by Barbara (Florida, United States) on 26 September 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.
The small world is fascinating to me, referring to macro.
I would have liked the ant to be in focus more but he wasn't still enough for clarity.
Today I promised myself to get my camera and go for photos.
Just as I arrived at my destination, so did a downpour.
Florida rain usually does not last very long. After about 20 minutes it stopped, but the water droplets continued under the trees. Fortunately I carry plastic to cover my camera.
Update: The plant is a Lobster Claw Heliconia, related to Bananas and Bird of Paradise. Source: Google search.
