Yellow Plumeria

Looking down the center of a plumeria bloom. This image was taken during last year's blooms. This year all of my plumerias are full of lush green leaves but not one single bloom.

I have only smelled Plumeria via lotions and candles. I bet the real blooms are even better. This is just exquisite--that rich, vibrant yellow is gorgeous and oh, so cheerful. Beautiful macro!

@Claudia: Coming from the north I had never smelled Plumeria's either. But the scent is magnificent in real flower form. I've found the various colors are slightly stronger than others. The white w/yellow center seem to have a lighter scent. While the deep pink and red are stronger. The way I describe the scent is light suntan lotion. Of course just the aroma of that alone relates to vacation. Another scent that is so beautiful are the orange blossoms. I have an orange tree and grapefruit tree, when they are in bloom the entire yard has their scent. Thank you, Claudia for your comment.
