Best Foot Forward

Posted by Barbara (Florida, United States) on 16 August 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

Update: This is Lucy.
The story of Lucy is that when she was a kitten, less than a year old, her owner at the time brought her over and asked if they could take care of her a few days. This person was moving in with their mother and needed time to talk her mother into allowing a cat.
After a few days word was the mother did not agree to a feline in the house.
So Lucy became a permanent resident with Katie and Jack. It was a mystery how, but during Lucy's first year she broke her leg. To mend it a veterinarian put a pin in her leg which is why she sits with her "best foot forward".
This doesn't stop or slow Lucy down, she is just as fast and agile as any other cat on the block.
While Lucy could resemble a Maine Coon cat her owner believes she may be a Norwegian Forest Cat.
Either way Lucy is a sweetheart.

A furry fluffy friend I visited Saturday. As soon as I know his/her name I will post it.
I certainly did not want to delay posting this precious face for lack of having a name.
