Bette Davis Eyes

I am thrilled that I received my set of extension tubes today. 36, 20 and 12 mm.
This is my first sample shot just to get clicking as soon as I got the tubes out of the box. I have some new adventures ahead and looking forward to more time behind the viewfinder.
This image taken with my 18-70 mm lens with the 12mm and 36 mm extension tube attached.

You will get even more closely shots with all three of them together, you can see several examples in my blog. Have fun with it, definitely need a tripod though and even manual focus.

Of course my getting them comes from the inspiration from your talent, and the discussion I had with you about macro, way back when. Thank you for commenting.

The pictures of the crocodile I recently posted were made with my 70-300 mm lens at 135mm + a 12 mm extensiontube.

@JanW: Thank you for your comment and the details of use of your tubes. This was my first image, enough time to get the tubes out of the box and on my camera. I am excited to have them but still hoping for more time. Thank you so much. I loved your croc shots.
