Boarding on the Beach

This young man boarded by so effortlessly.
I would have preferred to have him more into the frame but being fussy was not going to get me a shot.
As it is I had to crop some of the left portion of the image out.

At this point, if you are at the beach and are in motion, It is likely that I will capture you going by.
I am still having fun but hope to discover my next subject for images soon.

This is perfect, Barb ... probably your best so far. He is so sharp and for his placement in the frame, it is perfect also. You've left him (or he left you) plenty of space into which to skate ... effortlessly! ... ***** 5 stars!

I agree with Judy above! I think the composition is perfect! He has just skated into the frame and he has so much more space to go! For the last one I said, that was my favourite! I revise that....I just wish you had captured a skimpily dressed girl instead!!! ;-)

@Kaneabel: Thank you, I enjoyed your comment and a good laugh at your suggestion for a subject. The weather has turned cooler and more rather than less clothing is what is on the beach these days ; )
P.S. This it what happens to me, I find I prefer one photo and consider it my favorite but then that next one arrives and I lean towards that one. This is part of the challenge I spoke about earlier, always looking to get that better shot. Thanks again.

Great capture of him with the background all blurred showing fast motion. And the composition with him on the right hand side does a great job of leading your eyes as to where he's heading.

You have a great array of subject matter so far! From trucks to taxis to bikes to this kid - really great variety! I love the sunsetting blue sky and the bright store front right behind him. Really nice.

@Marion: Thank you so much for your kind words, Marion. I also appreciate you looking through my images. I hope any suggestions I made are helpful. Panning can be tricky, when you think you have followed the subjects speed with the same degree of movement with your camera, it looks great on the LCD screen but on the computer monitor it still needs improvement. Don't give up, keep trying. Child on a swing is a great subject. I look forward to seeing any of the images you capture.
I am an amateur that goes everywhere with her camera just like you. I never leave home without it. Thanks.
