There are many sunset images out there but nothing replaces being there to witness it in person.

The silhouettes, the bird before that 'molten' sun, the sky color and straight horizon make this one of your BEST!

That's a really wonderful shot, Barbara!... and I absolutely agree with your sentiment: there's nothing like being there to witness such magical sights. The lagniappe, of course, is that having a camera on hand allows you to revisit the moment... and to share it with all of us. So... thanks for sharing!!
