Sand Key, Florida. Life guards are scarce these days due to the economy.
No kidding, at least they have a stand, which is more than I can say when I visited...besides I don't need a lifeguard I can swim like a fish although unlike a fish I'm easily thrown back on the beach :) Love these photos it reminds me of my one and only winter escape ;)

I would have taken this shot without the life guard tower as a whole distracted by the buildings behind.Cheers.

Great illusion picture! A giant beachwatcher's chair, and also an excellent composition, not "just another" beach picture!
