Bird Feeder 2Posted by Barbara (Florida, United States) on 15 June 2008 in Art & Design. The feeder posted yesterday is complete and hanging in my grapefruit tree. The birds now have another place in my yard to feast. So far one squirrel has discovered it. To all of those who qualify.... Happy Father's Day! It is the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary. -Paulo Coelho

Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaIt must move you, giving like this to the birds, and giving like this to bloggers who can admire your work for free LOL I am touched by your comment yesterday, you are a true artist...you know I read in a very spiritual book that one day, artists are going to be supported financially so that all they do is concentrate on their art, because art is a true gift from the Soul and the universe is so much in need of beauty...Something like that, but I thought oh yeah, how fitting that the most wonderful legacy to leave behind is beauty...This comment was a lot longer than I planned LOL ;) 15 Jun 2008 6:50am @Lorraine: I enjoyed your "lengthy" comment. Your words are kind and they really do inspire me. As for artists being supported financially, well artists must eat but I think the real reward is what they have created. Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsGreat composition, I like the light green leaf as a tasty seasoning :). 15 Jun 2008 12:02pm @Illuci: Thank you for commenting. Suzanne Labbé from Granby, CanadaWhat a nice piece of art. I love the framing. Great job. 15 Jun 2008 12:39pm @Suzanne Labbé: I appreciate your comment Suzanne. Thank you. I am glad you like the feeder. Hopefully I will catch a bird in it someday. Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesPS: I forgot to say I love the way you presented this one also. 15 Jun 2008 5:10pm @Judy: The process just happened one day, like when I posted the 2 bowls for 2 friends, and I liked it rather than the plain image. Marie-Hélène Ammor from Casablanca/Paris, MoroccoI love this presentation :very beautiful and your work is very beautiful ! 15 Jun 2008 9:47pm @Marie-Hélène Ammor: Thank you very much Marie. MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomOh I do love how you've presented this and other shots. What a talented lady you are Barbara, the bird feeder and the bowls are beautiful. 15 Jun 2008 10:08pm @MaryB: Mary, you are vary kind with your comment. This is just one more thing for the birds that visit my yard, along with the butterflies. Lorraine from Gatineau, Canadawow thanks, can't remember the book, but I know of one specifically that also mentions that if one's art is truly from the soul then as it is created on earth it is done in Heaven in its spiritual entity. That touched me so much, I can't tell you...so a painting, a ceramic bowl a sketch anything done with Love through the Soul is never, ever lost, and that I do believe I read In my favourites 3 books in the world in fact, if I could only have one thing to bring with me were I to get stranded on an island it would be one of those, the name of the First Book is CAlled: Emmanuel's Book 1 Living in the Cosmos (or something like that, you'd think I'd know it by heart since I refer to it all the time LOL, the Second: Emmanuel's Book II Choosing Love, the Third, Emmanuel's Book 3 What is an Angel doing here....all written by Pat Rodegast and Judith Stanton 16 Jun 2008 11:17am @Lorraine: Thank you Lorraine for the follow up on the books. I will look further. You may not realize how much all of your comments have helped me lately. Rabbit from Richmond, United StatesLove your composition - I may have to borrow this idea if thats ok. Really adds something to it when trying to showcase your work without it looking so boring and just being - ya know your work. Not that our work is boring, but you know what i mean... Great JOB on your bird feeder. 16 Jun 2008 2:59pm @Rabbit: I know what you mean Rabbit sometimes a little extra touch can make a difference in the way things are presented. |
