Originally there was a Continental wheel and there has been some modification to the back. The engine purrs and roars like a lion. It has such a strong and powerful sound but not loud. Now if I could only get the sound through this connection. HDR software was used for this image only. I really appreciate all of your wonderful comments and I am glad you like the car.
Very very lovely! so nice!

@saeed: Thank you for your visit and comment.
This car rocks! Can just picture someone standing on the running board holding onto the door hinges and knowing that they won't come off. Must say I would not enjoy the petrol bill for it today, though!

@dobbino: Very nice comment, thank you. The gas bill could add up but with the way things are going even running a lawn mower these days is costly. As for someone standing on the running board, I am sure the fellow who helped his child stand on it to look inside still remembers me. If it wasn't restored then your idea would be fun. Glad you stopped by to take a look, thanks.
BEAUTIFUL, Barb ... she's so well preserved and must be a joy to drive or ride in.

@Judy: A joy indeed, and comfortable, except getting out like an ostrich since there is no stepping or standing on the white running board. To answer your wedding question, actually it has never been considered. Insurance coverage is specific to it's use. Having people climbing in and out and all over vehicles like this is something to be avoided. Thank you for your comment.
You can see how these cars were influenced by the horse-pulled coaches of the 19th century. Great car-portrait, you did it perfect like your other car pictures!
