A grand banquet room in the Belleview Biltmore Resort, built in 1897. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Just standing in this room one can imagine the music, men in their top hats and tales and woman in their elegant gowns of another era in time. How wonderful it would be to turn back time and live it for even one day. The room is still used for weddings and other functions. The windows are Tiffany glass.
Just awesome, and you have captured it well. The colors are great and the light from the windows are great. Well done

@Marie-Hélène: Thank you Marie, I am glad it brought a smile. I have a vivid imagination, being in historical places like this I can almost feet the prescence of those who were once there. It is a grand place, Belleview Biltmore Hotel.

@Nancy B: It reminds me so much of the Fisher Bldg where I spent many years. That is what gave me the real appreciation of historical places. Now that is a building I would like to return to with my camera.

@standley: Thank you Standley, it is classic from another era. By the way the moss roof (second photo) gave a real view of the roof. Very interesting. For some reason I could not comment on that particular photo.
