Intercoastal Waterway
Posted by Barbara (Florida, United States) on 13 March 2008 in Cityscape & Urban.
The image lacks good composition (my opinion). I am posting it to show you the downtown Clearwater, Florida skyline and I do like the colorful sails.
Downtown is small but very clean with recent renovation to just about everything. Unfortunately with the completion of the new Memorial Causeway bridge it has put all of the little shops out of business. Traffic moves in a new direction avoiding downtown. But there IS a Starbuck's, thank goodness for that!
The tall building of condominiums is still being completed. They actually demolished a very large church that had been there for many years.
I took this image from the bridge that takes you from Clearwater Beach to Sand Key going over the inlet separating the two beaches. Behind me is the Gulf of Mexico.
