Snowy Egret (Egretta thula)

These birds are often found sprinting rapidly through shallow water chasing schools of minnows. I have seen them many times perched on the ropes of boats in the marina hovering over the water waiting for the next meal to swim by.
I admire their yellow feet it is like they have yellow sneakers on.
They are humorous when they display the plumes on their head.
