This is not what I intended to post today. Because of time and major storms this one will have to do. Sorry I do not know the name of the flower, if you know, it would be helpful.
At this moment we are having a major band of storms moving toward the coast on the Gulf of Mexico. It is very windy with heavy rain. According to the weather report the worst is yet to come. Another huge storm is approaching and we are under tornado watch until this evening. I usually post the day before but this storm has me posting earlier and searching for an image that won't be a disappointment to my viewers.
BOOM! Here comes the lightning. Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend.
nice shot & vivid colors

@Lorraine: Thank you Lorraine, your message is sweet.
I hope the storm passed.....will check on you... looks like a double Clematis, but being out of my zone will try and check. Leaves look like clematis. The color is outstanding.

@alla: It rained with lightning but we have had more threatening weather than that. It is just that our heavy storm season isn't due to arrive just yet this was a sample. Much of the north is being hit with worse weather. Thank you
It looks like a little spider is coming out of the flower :]

Beautiful. Nice DOF and composition. I wish I could help you with the name, but I don't know what it is!

@Tracey: Thank you Tracy. Eventually I may locate the name. This was taken at our local Botanical Gardens, as a rule I take a photo of the name nearby. Sometimes I don't, as in this situation. I appreciate your comment.

Hope all is well since the storms have passed. It's chilly down here in Bradenton. And your photo of purple flowers is beautiful; perfect color for Lent.

@Viewfinder: Thanks VF all is well up this way. The plants and grass got what they needed, rain! The high winds are to calm sometime tomorrow. It is cold everywhere it seems. I appreciate your comment.
