Rosa Don Juan, that is the name of this deep red rose. Perfect for all of the sweethearts in your life.

Congrats on the agave feature yesterday. And this rose is about as red as any rose I've ever seen. Beautiful.

I have been on a little journey through my Familiar Quotes book....I was looking up "Rose is a rose is a rose is a rose......because that is all I could think of when I gazed on this beauty....and I thought of American Beauty Rose and then Chrysler Imperial from 1953 which I have in my garden.....see what fun I am having and I only photograph with my eyes....thanks Barb

I hope this comment is buried back far enough in time that no one else reads it... but: I am feeling that if I never see another flower macro shot, it will be too soon!!! Everybody and his cousin is taking them ad nauseum, but HERE, you have taken a great one. This is appealing in every way. The colors, the water droplets, perfect focus and dof.
