I am uncertain of this plants common name but I came across it in the cactus garden at the local botanical gardens. It is a succulent and ornamental with its symmetrical rosette of leaves and delicate white markings. It sits about 12" off the ground.
The light was perfect as I focused straight down on the plant.
No touch up or enhancement, only the addition of my copyright.

When I look at the image at the top of this comment sheet, it reminds me of an artichoke...I love the green and varigated and shades of green...I have been working on that in my garden and cannot resist placing them next to one another for the look of a fine tapestry...I am not a photographer so I am looking at it from different eyes....

@Bill: Thank you very much, Bill. For the comment and looking back at this. What was amazing is that I just happened to be walking by this plant and stood over it for the shot. It was completely untouched, straight from the camera. This was the second (and my last) image that was actually in the AM3 Spotlight. My first one was the Fist (Homeless Frustration) which was only my 5th or so posting on AM3. Now that was a real welcome to this community.
