Victoria AgavePosted by Barbara (Florida, United States) on 26 February 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. Thank you Everyone and my sincere appreciation for all of your kind comments and inspiration. This image of the Victoria Agave has become today's featured photo on the AM3 homepage. THANK YOU! I am uncertain of this plants common name but I came across it in the cactus garden at the local botanical gardens. It is a succulent and ornamental with its symmetrical rosette of leaves and delicate white markings. It sits about 12" off the ground.

Sincerely appreciate it. Bill from Los Altos, United StatesGreat Agave shot. They are such stunning plants, and you captured it fabulously with the highlights and shadows. I love it! 15 Apr 2009 4:16am @Bill: Thank you very much, Bill. For the comment and looking back at this. What was amazing is that I just happened to be walking by this plant and stood over it for the shot. It was completely untouched, straight from the camera. This was the second (and my last) image that was actually in the AM3 Spotlight. My first one was the Fist (Homeless Frustration) which was only my 5th or so posting on AM3. Now that was a real welcome to this community. |
