Pierce 100 is a 13 story condominium complex. Built in 1974, the building's exterior was renovated for US $3.215 million in 1992. It sits on what looks like filled in land (from aerial view) on the Intercoastal, also known as Clearwater Harbor. When the Memorial Causeway bridge was built it became an issue for the condo owners. The design of the bridge and walkway http://barbaraann.aminus3.com/image/2008-02-07.html intruded on the space around this building. I could understand the condo owners not liking the change, at first I agreed with them. But now that the bridge is complete and Pierce 100 was renovated, along with landscaping, it is very appealing and blends rather than conflict with each other. You can see part of the Memorial Causeway Bridge to the right.
Do you work for an ad agency, 'cause you could, you're that good ;)

@Lorraine: Thank you very much Lorraine this is a wonderful compliment. I am feeling very creative lately and enjoy working with photoshop. The crisp lines in the photos of the last few days need to jump off of the page a little. While I consider myself a nature photographer I also enjoy architecture. Your comment is inspiring. Thank you.
Barb, I told you ....you have to go to visit Clearwater Chamber of Commerce...you have much to offer. Then they could splash their commercials up here in Michigan ....5 degrees right now and all the chimes in my trees are clanging....Unless they do not want any more tourists there (ha ha) You can stick with this for the next couple of months for me....I can feel the draft in my bay window right now...poor little birds.

I like your postcard effect, Barb. This is another great shot taken in the vicinity of the Memorial Causeway Bridge!

I like especially the light and simple shapes, the true brand of grand luxury, also in this shot.
