Lorraine from Gatineau, Canadaand it is soooo elegant, great take, great angle Barbara :) 8 Feb 2008 11:58am @Lorraine: Thank you sooo much Lorraine. I always enjoy your comments. @Dylan: I appreciate that Dylan. Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesWOW, Barb ... yesterday's and today's are wonderful and yes, you had the PERFECT weather for these shots. ... Yesterday I spent the afternoon and evening with my mother's best friend's two daughters and we all agreed that our mothers must have been looking down smiling at all the memories we shared over the years and the ways in which our lives have intertwined. I am trying to catch up this morning. :D 8 Feb 2008 2:51pm @Judy: Thanks Judy for the compliment. It sounds like you had a wonderful visit filled with memories. The best kind of visit indeed. Kirsten from Leamington, Canadagreat photos. 8 Feb 2008 4:13pm @Kirsten: Thank you Kirsten. There has been some clear days for good photos. @Eduarda: Thank you Eduarda. @alla: Thank you I appreciate your view and comment. Emilio Garcia from Pleasanton, United StatesI like the complementary curves of the two roads. Great composition. 8 Feb 2008 9:40pm @Emilio Garcia: Thank you Emilio. I liked how the curves complimented each other as well. Nancy Batlemento from Bloomfield Hills, United StatesI am not a photographer but what I love about this photo, especially because I am in Michigan at this time of the year, is that beautiful clean road with no pot holes. The yellow marker is bright and clear. Now that was my first impression but now as I gaze at it better, the blue sky, bridge, ......how can 2000 miles make that much of a difference....The ground hog did not make a shadow. 9 Feb 2008 1:04am JoeB from Brampton, CanadaIT kooks so clean, well kept and pure, and the curves going both ways make you look both ways. 9 Feb 2008 2:41am @bill: Thank you Bill. The bridge has nice curved lines to it. It is lit up at night, with calm water the reflection looks attractive. Sometime ago, possibly with my other camera I took some night images. If they are suitable I may post them otherwise I may have a new project to do. Thanks for the idea. Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanA beautiful take, Barbara, that shows off the elegant line of the bridge! The road seems to be in competition with the bridge! I really admire your choice of angle, the composition is very attractive! 9 Feb 2008 11:48am akarui from Kagoshima, JapanGreat composition Barbara, you did a very good job. All the curves of the bridge (highway?) and road below make a nice design. I enjoy also the lamp shape which make a kind of circle with the bridge and keeps you in the picture. I may have crop a little the right to take away the blue sky square on this border. 11 Feb 2008 5:35am Barbara from Florida, United StatesThanks Tom, I really appreciate you going back to previous posts. 24 Mar 2008 1:36am Aubain from Honolulu, TongaGreat composition, you have a sharp eye and nice sense of beauty 11 Aug 2008 6:49am Barbara from Florida, United StatesThank you very much for an inspiring comment. 12 Aug 2008 4:45am |
