Big Momma!

Actually I did not feel this was focused well enough for posting. The fog that had just rolled in made things hazy. I took the shot on a whim, almost did not take it at all. I have many images of alligators. But once I loaded my photos I noticed something I have never seen. Take a good look there is a baby on her back.
It does not mean this is not normal, it means that I have never witnessed it. It was an experience for me to see.
The small alligator I posted yesterday was directly across this small lake from Big Momma. I assume he belongs to her as well.
To give an idea on Big Momma's size I would say she is a good 10 or 11 feet. She has been around this lake for awhile.
