@Sidonie: Indeed a squirrel. The same one leaping from tree to tree begging for a peanut. It was entertaining to watch. @10cré: Thank you for your "cute" comment. @Kelly: Thank you Kelly. Nancy Batlemento from Bloomfield Hills, United StatesI do not have enough room here for my comments on squirrels living in Michigan. I view them all day from my window, knocking down "squirrel free" bird feeders to the ground and rolling them into the woods; removing the suet cake from a screened in feeder for my darling finches and right now while I am writing, they are in the trees maneuving how to get at this or that....BUT, I also view my free trapeze act on the high wires....oh nature! Great innocent looking shot Barb! 23 Jan 2008 1:48pm @Chris: Great comment, thank you Chris. Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesWow...great close up. We are overrun with squirrels! We just had a big problem with the gas line to our outdoor grill because a squirrel chewed the gas line going into the burners! Apparently they like to do that. We kept smelling gas but didn't know why. Then we figured that it had to be from the grill. We couldn't find any leaks on the lines using soapy water to look for bubbles where a leak would be, so we called for service and he found that the line was chewed all the way up where the line goes into the grill. It didn't look like a place where a squirrel would go. It took him 30 minutes to find the problem. We also had one trying to get in the house the other day too. I used to think they were cute until I saw the damage they did to my neighbor's house when they got in and then to my grill...Now I am not so sure anymore...Grrrrrrrr! 23 Jan 2008 5:08pm @Laurie: Thank you. I certainly understand why you may have a grrrr-udge on the squirrels. I have heard they are destructive. I do know they can be a pest and do not give up. But for a walk in the park they are entertaining. That sounds like a dangerious situation you had with the grill. Laurie from Lincoln, United StatesI love this image! The DoF is great and the detail on him is magnificent! Well done! =-) 23 Jan 2008 9:54pm @Laurie: Thank you Laurie, I appreciate your comment. Dylan from Delhi, United StatesNice shot!
