There is something about the golden glow of a sunset and how the visual effect can warm the spirit. To everyone in the AM3 Community feeling the cold blast of winter I hope this brings you feeling of warmth.

@Dean Francis: Sorry, I wanted to add another note to the caption but did not want to spoil the feeling. Truthfully it was so cold when I took this my fingers were numb to hit the shutter. I was bundled up trying to capture some waves. The wind was so strong the spray traveled on shore then the sand. I stayed a very short time taking this one last shot as I headed back. Last night it was in the 30's here. We are cold here too.

Beautiful shot but as you said, the warm of the sun vs the temperatures right now and a bit misleading! *smile* ... (It's 39F an hour north of you as I write at 7:45am.)

I love it .....what could be more beautiful than sunrise and sunset! Our sky was tinged with pink last night and we had a beautiful sunset with crisp, cold and gorgeous trees coated with snow....what a beautiful world this is!

Well I got through today but yesterday's butterfly b rought back so many memories of Michoacan in Mexico where the butterflies go to winter and the taxis are white with a gorgeous Monarch butterfly painted across the entire side of the vehicle....I remember all the cacoons hanging from the trees. Sorry but I just had to get this in even if it is a day late....

Even in the freezing cold one finds something to admire and get warm with the feeling of beauty! What you say about the cold there makes me think of Colleen McCullough 's "A Creed For The Third Millenium", a book that deals with global freezing attacking America. It was such a depressing read, I had to give it up halfway! Hope it will never come true! Though....the scientists say this is going to happen sooner or later. Gabriela
