The gull stands facing the wind, his feathers smooth. This image does not show the wind gusts of 50 to 60 m.p.h. that was coming in off of the Gulf of Mexico. It was difficult for birds to fly, as much as it was for me to stand holding the camera steady. I really enjoyed being out there. 99
